Well we have spent most of the summer holidays down at our beach, the kids have had a great time playing in the water on their body boards and looking for creatures. Joe braved jumping off the wharf into the sea the other day for the first time. As you can see the boys are still dressing very British with the Wednesday shirt and the Asda cricket!
We have had Sam and Joe's 1oth Birthday, their first birthday in the sun and we ended up taking some of their friends to the cinema and then on to burger king! This is our beach at Omokoroa where we could have had a party on! Thanks for all their cards and things. Thank you letters will arrive eventually if the constant nagging by me eventually comes to fruition.
We have our first crop of seedless grapes ready as shown by jess.
Its lovely going down the garden for lettuce, carrots etc, we can't wait until next year when our fruit trees should be bearing fruit. We have a plum, manderin, lemon, and apple trees, so should be a good harvest. Although I have to say that you can have too much broccoli!
Jess is 6 next week so we are taking a few of her friends to the World of Horses to do some horse riding. Hopefully we will not be required to 'muck out'.
Jess had a week of swimming lessons and without too much abuse to the swimming instructor managed to go under the water and collect some rings and then dive through a hoop. So a very sucessful week - she still hates glyn (the previous instructor) though!!
Will try not to take as long to update the blog next time. We should be back with some photos of Jess at her party.
Love to all
