This week we have had Jess's 6th Birthday party. She and 3 friends went horse riding. As you can see the horses were big ones but they loved it. Then back home for a small tea party.

Its back to school this week too, they started back on thursday for 2 days, then a weekend to have a rest in! The lucky things have all been swimming both days.

We have had a very hot couple of days, we went to the Mount beach yesterday and the kids spent the day catching the waves on their body boards. Sam and Joe are getting brave now and are catching the bigger ones. I am getting braver too and got in as far as my waist. May even make a swim before the year is out!!

We have had lots of vegetables this week, very large marrow, huge cucumber, spinach, peaches, apples, and still more broccoli!! Any ideas on how to cook the marrow would be appreciated.

Martin has taken the stabalisers off Jess's bike to try and get her riding without them, but in true Jess style she now refuses to get on the bike! There is a battle of the wills now taking place- wonder who will win!
