Sam has been away at camp this week, we had the chance to visit to see their show.
Here he is with his friends Sam and Callum. Their chins have eyes on as the  boys had been telling jokes upside down for their part of the show!!

A few pics of the house this week.

Most of the brick works has now been done except for the gables.
The plaster boards have been delivered today.

This is the lounge before the plasterboards are fitted.

I havent had chance to get hold of grandads camera this week, so will post some photos this weekend. They have been to Auckland and Red Wood this week.

love to you all

The house is coming on this week. Most of the brickwork has been done and the brickies should be finished by next wednesday. Then it will be on to the inside. We have started with the ordering of the kitchen, carpets and curtains, so things are starting to move. Its funny because the bathrooms, electrics etc are already installed but the property is still open with no garage door - there is a lot of trust here, in the uk these would have been whipped out as soon as it went dark!

The boys are now playing indoor volleyball every friday. They are both doing well and are quickly getting the hang of it.

Joe is waiting to slamdunk the next shot!

Now Grandad wanted me to show you all his new physique, he has worked so hard to get in to shape this holiday......
I told him you wouldnt believe me... now here he really is

And yes he really is wearing socks in the sea!!

All credit to him he did have a go at body boarding

You will note there are no waves and you can see how deep he is
by Sam stood just at the back of him.

Now the real reason he has developed this wonderful figure is too many of these...

in places like this...

Thats abouts it for this week.
We are all ok after the terrible earthquake and tsunami in Japan. We were put on tsunami alert for 24 hours but nothing came our way really. We were told that the current was stronger but nothing was apparent to us.
So all is well.
More next time
Love to all

This week we visited Karangahake Gorge, we had a walk around the windows walk and went through some of the little tunnels the gold miners made .

The kids posing in one of the windows.
Scary bridges which grandad insisted on jumping up and down on to make them swing more.
Joe trying to convince grandma and elaine that its safe to go in the water
No it wasnt a shark attack - elaine lost her pants!!

And no you are not seeing things - Bob is in the sea!! He enjoyed it so much he is planning on
going in again this week!

The house is coming on, the windows are in, here we are in our family room.

And the brickwork has started, we should see some big changes this next week or so.
we will keep snapping - still not managed to get the sleeping grandad photo.
